Health Centre

The UNIMAS Health Centre (PKU) or better known as UNIMAS Clinic, is located at the LG level, Studeng Affairs & Alumni Building (next to the student bus waiting area). UNIMAS Clinic provides primary medical and health services for all UNIMAS citizens.

The UNIMAS Clinic is headed by a Senior UD48 Medical Officer, 3 UD43 Medical Officers, 4 Assistant Medical Officers, 2 Nurses U32, 2 U29 Nurses, A Nurse U19 Assistant, 4 Assistant Pharmacist U29, A Member Therapist, an Xuruer -Ray, U29 Laboratory Technician, 3 Personnel Health Care Assistant U11, Ambulance Driver H11, An Administrative Officer and 3 Administrative Assistants.

The UNIMAS clinic also provides vehicle services to send and take students and staff to the Government Hospital, Polyclinic or Health Centre near either by appointment or emergency.

The UNIMAS clinic's Business Hours are divided into 2 which are during the class / learning session and during the semester break / middle semester break.

During the class / learning session:

Weekdays (Monday - Friday)

8.00am - 12.30pm, 2.00pm - 07.30pm (Monday - Thursday)
8.00am - 11.30pm, 2.30pm - 7.30pm (Friday)

 During Semester Break / Middle semester break:

Weekdays (Monday - Friday)

8.45am - 12.30pm, 2.00pm - 04.30pm (Monday - Thursday)
8.45am - 11.30pm, 2.30pm - 4.30pm (Friday)

Provided Medical Services

Medical treatment services are the main pulse of services at the UNIMAS clinic

  • Outpatient treatment for adults and children
  • Follow-up treatment for chronic illness
  • Treatment of emergency cases and accidents
  • Case references to UNIMAS specialist doctors and specialist Sarawak General Hospital doctors if necessary/listing}

  • An antenatal examination for pregnant women
  • Basic diagnostic examination of medical laboratory such as urine, blood and others
  • Electrocardiogram / Ultrasound screening
  • Pharmacy
  • Observation Room

  • Emergency response services outside the clinic if necessary
  • Individual counseling and counseling while receiving treatment
  • Exhibits leaflets, posters and health-related information on health centre at UNIMAS clinics
  • Health talks and education related health and emergencies

  • Accidental injury
  • Shortness of breath like tired / panic attack and others
  • Painful diseases such as stomach ache, headache and others
  • Unconscious like fainting / convulsions
  • Bleeding from any cause
